About Us
We are a group dedicated to improving the standard of public transport. Our aim is to create a user friendly rail service that meets all expectations of reliability, frequency and cleanliness.

We aim to protect the line up to and beyond Birmingham and Worcester and to promote the re-opening of the former Stourbridge to Dudley railway with an extension to Walsall.

Our efforts so far have helped to upgrade evening and Sunday services, provide new through routes and refurbish many stations. Our strength is in the number of our members.

SLUG is administered by a committee who meet with representatives of the railway industry and local authorities bi-monthly.  The current committee consists of the following members.
